Hi everyone! I propagated this umbrella tree cutting & planted it in some soil about a month & a half ago & the roots are already popping out of the bottom of the pot. Should I repot her again? Or leave her for a while? Hopefully this is the right group for this question! 😊

I would leave it till it’s like 85% roots. Good luck 🍀

I’m about to attempt propagating mine 😅 any tips? How long did it take?

So my first cutting I had in water for a month & it did nothing. So then i got some rooting powder & cut it down a bit & dipped it in that & then tried again & that took 2 months to propagate! I took a second cutting (they were from my mom’s plant) & that one I dipped in the rooting powder from the start & took almost 3 months. I repotted the original with my second cutting & so far so good! They seem pretty hardy, but the roots just take a while I guess 😊
