hi! i potted this propagation that was given to me a few weeks ago after it looked ready, can i save it? it’s just the one leaf.

    Sometimes a propagation withers while it pushes a new stem, but I would definitely Google whether or not that’s the case with this type of plant.

    Hi! Another suggestion I would add is that usually with propagations you want to keep the soil damp and not let it dry out too much. Because it doesn’t have the root system of an established plant it will have trouble retaining and drawing in moisture. My recommendation would be to try to try and water it every 4-5 days. Ideally if your pot has drainage holes water the plant till you see the water drain through. If the pot does not have drainage holes just be extra careful watering. You don’t want the soil to be muddy. The best way to know if it needs water at this stage will be to use your finger and wiggle it an inch or so in the soil and if it feels wet, let it be then wait a day or two. Once that first inch or so of soil feels dry, water it. I recommend doing this for about two weeks and your plant should be good to go :)
