I’ve never had this happen before—I’ve been propagating a little Hoya cutting since December and has been doing really well, but of course, yesterday I checked on her and her leaves are wrinkled and the new growth is dying but the roots are fine (as of now—we’ll see if that changes). I dipped her in rooting hormone changed the water and put her back under the grow light but no clue what the hell happened😩

    Maybe it's the humidity? I know Hoya don't need a lot of humidity but because the plant does not have any roots and it's winter (do you need to run a furnace in the winter where you live?) the air may be too dry at least until it gets a few roots.

      Your guess is as good as mine. It was doing so well! It’s been growing roots and from what I can tell, they seem to be okay. The stem is still firm, it’s only the leaves that are suffering. It’s above a heater and I have a small humidifier in that area but it isn’t enough to make a drastic difference, it's only there for my monstera. The small white pot. This has been my setup since I started propagating it. That’s why I’m so confused about what is happening😩💔

      Need a photo of the cutting laying on a white table top or on light colors to see the roots, leaf and stem. Can’t see much in the photos.

    Do you fertilize with every water change? Do you change the water when it gets cloudy? Is the water line always above the roots? Leaves will dry out if the roots dry out.
