I just got a Jacklyn alocasia and went to repot it and found this. Is it a corm? The ones I've found before usually have the brown outside and this doesn't but figured I'd ask if anyone knew what is it

Yes, it’s just a young corm. They start this way and if on longer, develop that outer shell.
2 gillningarYou can prop it in moss and it’ll grow another plant. Pointy side up. Did you only find one? You prob missed a few in the soil.
2 gillningarOnly found the one, I went throught the soil pretty well but didn't find anymore
2 gillningarI found a few in my Jacklyn and i put them in a bottle cap of water and covered it with a glass jar for humidity, so far 2/4 are sprouting so maybe that’s something you can try! Shes young but its worth a shot :)
2 gillningarHow long between the prop and the sprout? I have 5 and none have sprouted under grow light and warm room... going onto 3rd week. I'm about to give up!
