I don’t know if I’m in the right group but I have a fiddle fig tree and I’ve had her since February 2024 and she has grown 6 leaves which I’m very grateful for but I’ve noticed that she is just a stick. I love how fiddle figs look when they branch out. Is there a way I could make that happen?

You can cut them back to just above a node, to try encourage growth. Or you can get some kekei paste to put on the lower nodes to try and get them to produce more leaves. Lightly Scoring the node before you apply it work best.

Wolfen… have you personally tried this, and if so, what were your results? TIA…

Wolfen… this is a grouping of rubber plants, that is looking a bit spare on the bottoms of its stems… ā˜¹ļø! Do you think using the keikei paste you mentioned would help add some leaves to the bottoms of these naked stems? TIA…

I have not personally tried this on a FLF, I have used the technique on other plants though, with pretty good results. It could, i have used it on a ficus variety.

Maybe I’ll try it on the tiniest one of the four; that way if it expires, I won’t die!
