First attempt at succulent propagation with Echeveria and Hawthoria (I think). Some of the leaves plucked well and some didn’t so I cut some of the ends and I’m interested in seeing the difference if some will propagate and some won’t. For now they are all on a paper towel until they scab up. I’m thinking of putting the plantlets/babies in water and the leaves on soil, but I welcome all suggestions!

From my understanding the aloe type plants don’t propagate like that but you split them when they have pups ( little offshoots)

Ah thank you! I didn’t realize it was similar to aloe, I was thinking that succulents should all be alike 😅 there are two little babies/pups that I took off so I will focus on those, and the rest is a bit of a loss I guess but the main plant needed a bit of trimming down anyways 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah just the ones in the second pic I think won’t take . The others should be ok .
