Hey guys. I hope everyone is well. I am propagating my golden pothos and this leaf was fully green when I put it in the water, but now it is yellowing and browning. But it’s also actively growing a root while it is getting more of the yellow/brown coloration. I am confused as to what to do here. Do I throw it out or is there still hope for it? I am fairly new to plants so I’m still learning how to diagnose and treat issues. I do have 3 other cuttings that are doing well so if this one doesn’t survive I have others.

It’s not unusual to lose leaves in propagation. It looks like it’s developing healthy roots. Leave it alone and if it looses the leaf, it can always grow another!

I agree! When ready the root will grow into a new plant with some soil without the old leaf. Happy gardening!👍🏼
