I want to propagate my ZZ but don’t see nodes. Can I cut this new growth where my finger is pointing and put in water to propagate? In the second picture is the bottom of a ZZ I’ve had in water for weeks. Did I not cut it right?

I would expect this to take ages to root. Did you let it callous before putting it in water? If it’s not mushy or rotting I’d pop it back in and keep waiting. These grow from rhizomes so you’d be better off splitting them that way to make more plants I think
0 Me gustaI did not let it callous. Can I remove from water, cut off an inch and callous for 24 hours then pop back into fresh water? About splitting them, will it be easy/obvious where to split or cut them when I take out of soil and shake off the soil to expose the full root system? Every time I’ve tried splitting something, roots have been connected all over the place
0 Me gustaYou could try recutting and callousing for an hour or two, but it’s still going to take forever. Splitting them is a better way to make new plants, I think. It will be very obvious especially if your plant is well established. The rhizomes look like potatoes, you can gently pull them apart. There are videos on YT too!
0 Me gustaAgree with comment above! It may take a month or two before you see roots, Zz’s take forever to root.
2 Me gustaMine took 3 months to get roots in the winter. I didn’t let it callous before putting it in water. I do change the water about every 4 days.
