Does anyone have any tips on making your own root growth hormone? I’ve seen a lot of different tips online, but I’d love to hear what has and hasn’t worked for you all. Specifically, I’m working on propagating my jade plant from stem cuttings. Feel free to turn this into a thread sharing your favorite propagation tips too. TIA!
Ive seen some side-by-side comparisons of common natural “root boosters” such as cinnamon, but the best that seemed to work was honey. This was specifically with water propagation though..
좋아요 1개 I’ve heard debates about cinnamon. Some saying they do it and it’s great, and some saying it’s not so much a root hormone and really just a preventative to prevent bacteria from growing. I have heard about the honey! 🍯 🤔 I am propagating them in soil, since I’ve heard jades prop better in soil than water, but I’ll have to try the honey method the next time I prop in water. Any thoughts on using apple cider vinegar?
