I want to try to propagate my mini monstera (Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma) I’ve never done it & have only successfully propagated pothos. Would love all the guidance I can get! Like is water the best method, how much light should they get, general tips & tricks- literally any morsel of information I’m so nervous because I love this plant. Also will the mother plant keep growing when she gets the big chop & is there anything I can/should do to help promote new growth?

Propagate it just like a pothos. The mother plant will put out new growth near the cutoff sections. Add 50% diluted fertilizer after the roots appear. Add SuperThrive plant vitamins to the fertilizer water. You can also add rooting hormone powder when you put the cuttings in soil. Put the cuttings in bright indirect light while they develop roots. 🍀🪴

Allow your cutting to callous over before putting it in water. Agee with Sunny, extremely easy plant to prop :)

Exciting! I’m scared to propagate mine too but it’s reassuring they’re similar to pothos. Make sure you give us an update! 😊
