bought this medinilla magnifica from the heavily reduced section of our local garden centre without really knowing what it was, and now i’m quite determined to get it thriving after seeing what it can bloom!
originally it was covered in little mineral deposits so gave it a wipe and a repot, slight trim of a dead shoot, and have just been regularly watering/misting. have fertilised once
anyone got any knowledge on what i could do to help this plant?

Help! I think the app had me over water and I’m new to the plant world so I don’t know how to save her! She’s a marble queen and she was sooooo beautiful.

Can my lavender be saved?? I got this plant about 3 weeks ago and live in Southern California. I was trying to not overwater as I’d been advised but I think I under watered? I repotted it right after purchasing and it has been extremely hot. I am brand new to any type of gardening and greatly appreciate any tips😊

Hello,
Does anybody know why this fiddle leaf fig keeps loosing the lower leaves?
I recently repotted it with more fresh soil and changed its location.

Should I be concerned by these white spots? One of my plants had it but it was because of all the dust from perlite. But now I’m noticing multiple of my plants have these white fuzzy-ish spots and then it’s brown/black if I wipe it off :( I’m worried since they’re all doing super well otherwise!

Is root rot transferable to other plants by mere proximity? I just had 3 plants die of it within just a few weeks :(

I have this pincushion peperomia that was doing fantastically, then I moved, and it started declining but I figured it was just a temporary thing because of the move but overnight it’s dropped all of its leaves? Is there anything I can do to save it?

Forgive my question, but what is “chunky” soil? I’m a new member to the group, reading the posts and replies. This is interesting.

Help! I have no idea what is going on with my dumb cane. I thought it wasn’t getting enough light so I moved it to this window but now more of the bottom leaves are drooping! 😭 I’m very new to plants.

Can anyone recommend a good fertilizer/food and all care for a California ivy and a raindrop succulent?? This Texas heat hasn’t been kind to them
Maggie Mabel
Just curious to see if anyone can recommend a good fertilizer for my California ivy as well as one for my raindrop succulent, both have done great up until a month ago, I live in Texas so the heat has been no joke and everything I’ve done hasn’t worked to help them, I normally water from the tap since their in my bedroom, I’ve moved them away from my window, and even watered with the hose and taken them outside, I’ve considered changing the soil their in to just normal soil from my backyard because my raindrop wasn’t doing well in the soil it came in a few months in to purchasing it…I had purchased succulent soil and it hasn’t made much of a difference in its health

Hello! I never have any luck with these, and I know it’s not luck it’s all about balance but I always struggle with string of hearts. Looked healthy for a while but now she’s giving out wrinkly leaves and not properly formed leaves. Can anyone help? I don’t think it’s overwatering. If anyone could help or give some tips I’d be so grateful x

Hey I’m worried this might be fungus. I did just treat for fungus gnats, but I also accidentally left her outside for a bit too long yesterday. If it is fungus, any tips on how to deal with it??

Trying to trouble shoot my plant, Griff. I’ve added a humidifier, added and removed grow light. Suggestions?
