This is all that is left of a Spiderman monstera I bought earlier this year. I thought this was just a broken stem and almost threw it away with the dirt, but it’s actually a new shoot.
Yesterday I gently cleaned it in plain water and removed any roots that seemed unhealthy. I left it to dry overnight because I was worried about rot if I put it straight into anything wet. Particularly because I removed some weird tick-looking thing from the main root that left a fairly big area exposed.
Unfortunately it is looking a bit worse for the wear today. The shoot has noticeably browned since yesterday. Hoping the water perks it up, but is there anything else I can do to try to save this one?

I have had this one for awhile and I just watered it but I’m wondering if I need to do something different because it’s losing leaves pretty fast

Hi everyone! I need help with my maranta plant asap! I got my red maranta a couple of months ago and since it has lost leaves left and right. I have moved it to different locations in my apartment for better sunlight/indirect light, put it on a watering schedule, watered with purified water, misting, etc. but the health is not improving. I would appreciate any advice on how to nurse it back to health. I would hate to see it die in my care.

my baby girl, Ivory, my first plant i got in my own place died recently :( can't believe im so heartbroken over a plant. here's some pics of her in her prime. i had her for a year and 2.5 months. she was a birthday gift from my boyfriend for my 18th.

This is my pink blush caladium. My new baby. I'm giving her a steam bath. But she seems to not be doing well. What can I do? I have her in the eat facing window only getting about 4-5 hours of morning light as she's a shade plant and the app said to keep her where I have her? Any tips? #caladium

Got a pothos cutting from a plant exchange a couple weeks ago and was super excited about a new leaf that was budding. Checked on the plant today and it looks like something took a bite of it?? None of the other leaves on the plant are touched, and there’s also nothing on my other plants. Could this damage be from before I got it or from a pest? I’ve killed a couple gnats (or fruit flies, I’m bad at telling the difference) that have been hanging around the plant baby. Do they eat plants??

The Amate on the left is my 80 yo Aunts tree, it’s over 20 years old.
The one on the right I rescued from my old apartment.
They are both sooo leggy and growing lots of top leaves but dropping some as well.
I tried notching last week, so maybe that will work.
Any suggestions?

Help me please!! I just got a basil plant and it’s been planted for about a week. It’s been super rainy these past few days so I’ve only watered it once. The leaves are all turning brown, falling off or developing spots. Can I fix this? I’ve never grown anything before so I’m just hoping.

Hi! I would like some advice on my neon pothos, it’s been declining recently and I’m not sure if it needs repotting or new soil or what….the leaves curl up and sometimes fall off, its right in front of a window.
