Hello all, So I got this plant back in June as a gift and unfortunately I have taken very poor care of it. It has been sat on and dropped far too many times as well as got root rot or something from over watering. I cut the black part of the roots and stem off and let it sit out to “callous” over and then proceeded to place it into damp soil. I have not seen any improvements. I also have leaves that have fallen off and started sprouting since I just put them into the soil, not knowing what would happen. Can someone please help me identify it and nurture it back to health??

My peperomia keeps dropping leaves and idk why I have another peperomia I treat the same and is thriving so I'm thinking repot? I recently watered her but before her soil was crazy compacted

Hello! I had to repot my Chinese evergreen because the soil wouldn’t get dry and I kept getting mold on top or the soil. My leaves were turning yellow and the gnats wouldn’t stay away despite putting cinnamon on top. When I took the plant out I noticed root rot. Most of it just fell off on its on. I’ve cleaned it really well with isopropyl alcohol and water. My question is do these parts of the plant look well enough to repot with the rest? Or do they still seem contaminated and need to be thrown away? Any help is appreciated. TIA

I repotted a plant I got from Lowes yesterday it had 7 babies and the babies were pushing the mother plant out of the pot causing it to lean over pretty bad. I separated them all out and planted all of them individually. They are in Transplant Shock and wanted to see if there is anything I can do to help them recover. They are just wilted and sad looking. If there is nothing I can do but let them root that’s fine I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help take some stress off them and help them recover. Thanks!

Help please... My prayer plant isn't looking too good... For the last week or so her leaves are turning brown and crispy. This isn't limited to the tip of the leaf. I have another prayer plant which is very healthy and dramatically 'opens and closes' every morning and evening. However this one doesn't particularly move. Here's a picture of the leaves , it's the back of the leaf as it's much easier to see :)

So this is Topher, my cut leaf grape fern. Our Boston fern Fernando fell on him this evening, and I had to give him some emergency first aid using the splint. Unfortunately, a small offspring was crushed, but I think Topher may make it. Does anyone have any experience with the cut leaf or rattlesnake grape ferns? I’m wondering how this injury will affect further reproduction.

So I’ve just learned this is because it wasn’t getting enough light in my window. So I’m acclimating it to being outside. I want to chop and prop so it can grow more upright. Where on the stems should I cut? Thanks!

Hello! My Chinese evergreen keeps getting this white moldy stuff on top of the soil and some of the leaves keep turning yellow. I tried the cinnamon thing. I also scraped it off and backfilled the top with fresh soil. It keeps happening. Should I repot? Or is there something else I should try? Also, is it a good idea to go ahead and cut off the yellow leaves?

What do you think is going on with this guy? He was growing very strong until I propagated (perhaps incorrectly?) from the top. Since then he’s been a bit off. And that was a few months ago. I was thinking maybe needs a bigger pot?

Wondering why my ZZ plant has a yellow dying branch.. should I trim it off?

So I bought a baby monstera Thai constellation a month or so ago and against my gut feeling I didn’t take it out of its perlite/fluval stratum mix. Today I checked it and the stem below the first node was gone. I’ve dabbed cinnamon on the bottom as it dried out well and patted a little rooting powder on both nodes. It’s also in a shot glass of water. Any tips for what I can do to help this thing? I’m really gutted this has happened and don’t want to lose it because it’s variegation is so nice

I received this succulent as a gift and I was unsure of what to do with it so I placed it outside in a very sunny spot. I was wrong it almost died on me and lost all of it's color. I looked up where to properly place it and since I brought it in and put it in a sunny window I see a big difference with it's health and especially it's color.
