What are people's opinions on what this parlor palm needs? I've gone through lots of different options, thinking he was getting too much water then thinking it was getting too little water. I'm now wondering if it's getting too much sun, or if it needs higher humidity...

They will be on the underside of the leaves. I'm pretty sure thats what it is, and they're bad. What I've been using is three parts water one part rubbing alcohol plus a few drops of dawn. I have heard that dawn van break down a leafs protective coating tho so you might want to use Castille instead. I would spray it every day or so for a while, and since it has tk come in contact with them youre gonna have to get the backs of the leaves😬. Every time you water, shower it, and I also use 3:1 water and hydrogen peroxide about for about three or four watering to help kill any in the soil. This is gonna take some dedication and in the end you most likely won't have a very pretty plant even if you get them all killed, so you might want to just toss it and get a new one. If you have any other plants you'll want to keep a close watch on them, maybe even treat them if they were near it.
