   Not trying to be dumb, as I'm a newbie,but are those roots? Can you plant it now?

     Yes Alocasia roots. Which are normally grown with corms. But considering the roots are so healthy I would like to start Over just not sure if I can do it this way.

   With plants, my motto is "just do it, and see what happens" 😆 I have seen some pretty jacked up Plants and cuttings survive

   I would stick it in water right away if I were you. I think if you leave it out those roots will shrivel up.

     I ended up sticking her in water right away and placing her under a grow light. Wasn’t sure soil vs water and what to do about the top portion. I hope this works 🤞🏽
