I was thinking about getting a rescue plant sometime soon, and I don't know what type to get... I was thinking something like a heartbeat philo?? Or maybe a calathia or a prayer plant?? Give me ideasss-

    What do you mean by "rescue"? A big box store? Or one thats half dead? Or just a plant at a plant shop?

      Probably a big box, more than likely lowe's or home depot

    😂😂😂 yeah there are soooo many. Why don't you just "wing it" go to the store and see what you find then decide. Or just close your eyes and grab one 😂

    A croton is a challenging one. Not as challenging as an Alocasia but i love my croton I've had for about 6 years now..

    Recently I picked up a Scindapsus Mt Salak, then saw the same plant on the clearance rack for half price. I swapped the “pretty” plant for the rescue, & I’m so glad I did! Rehabbing it was fun, and the growth is so rewarding. Plus I saved $10 😄

      Valid point, saving ten dollars means you can buy a ten dollar plant for free 😃 girl math even though I'm a guy

  6. Borg Family Plants

    There are some nurseries online where you can by rehab bundles. The nursery I buy from (online) has 3 rehabs for $10.00, theyre starter plants, but its fun to nurse them back and watch them grow. Its even more interesting because you don’t know what they’re sending. This photo is my latest haul🤪

    Go to the store and just look at the plants. You will know which one needs you. Check low shelves (often not getting enough light) and the orchid section (pretty easy to rehab and there's always at least one that needs help). Last time i went to home depot, somebody had put a box of plants directly on top of other plants and the orchids all had ice cube care instructions 🤦‍♀️

      I hate the types of companies who tell you to put ice cubes to water your orchids... I think its so they die and the customer buys another one because they think that they did smth wrong 🙃
