I just found a spider mite infestation on my maranta! I use the Arber insecticide to spray her down, but I’m really not sure that’s going to be enough because of how big and jumbled the leaves are on this big guy. Any recommendations on treating and quarantining plants with mites?
My advice is next time it needs a water take it in your shower or if you have an outdoor hose with a sprayer and spray that baby down so you can hopefully blast off all the mites and clean all those nooks and crannies. And then keep treating with the insecticide spray, or use neem oil
1 j'aime I used your technique and it’s worked great so far! I sprayed it off really good then soaked it in a bath with arbor insecticide and haven’t had issues with mites since then! Thank you!

0 J'aimeI’ve had very good luck with garlic. That’s a big plant so I’d plant a couple of cloves in the same pot—just cut off any sprouts of garlic and leave the clove.
