Bougie is NOT okay, you guys 😭 I don't even know if she's alive. The leaves are pretty dry. She's my mom's bougainvillea, btw.

    Have you watered it? Some /lots of plants will defoliate to slow down the photosynthesis/capillary process and be ok if watered immediately and kept a close eye on until they regrow some leaves. During this time they’ll be super fragile so don’t do anything else new like repot

      I gave it some water today. Maybe it'll perk up in the next few days?

      At this point the leaves will probably fall off but the stalk is what’s important. A healthy stalk will be somewhat flexible and a dead one will be like a matchstick

    Pot looks too big for the plant (and its roots) which can lead to inconsistent watering! You might consider looking at the root system and downsizing the pot…may save it in the long run

    And liquid fertilizer atleast once in 7 days? It looks like it needs it, poor thing. Keep in direct sunlight but away from drafts and heaters. It also needs a nice humid space. (I’ve got a humidifier going for mine) I get a soil change done and bring ALL patio plants indoor for the winters. I’d leave it in the same pot for now, transferring it in now in this state will only shock it more. I would not risk it. A full spectrum grow light would help going forward. Good luck! Keep us updated. Let’s all save it for mum!
