Hi everyone, could anyone help me with my polka dot plant? This is the second year in a row it’s become really leggy and I’m not sure what to do.

Needs a lot more light for sure. It’s climbing to try and find a better light source.

I didn’t even know they did this!

They will if they need more light. They will also have smaller leaves if they don’t have enough light.

When mine did this, I chopped off the top half of the plant to propagate. This caused it to put more energy into producing new leaves so it's bushier on the bottom! I agree it's looking for light as well.

Yes! Cut it back a good bit and love to a sunnier spot! This is mine a few weeks after trimming!

Typically if a plant becomes leggy it’s not receiving enough light. If you don’t have a brighter place to keep her, then I’d suggest investing in a grow light
