I feel like there is no hope for my ZZ. You can see from the pictures, it started out larger and more lush, but I have to keep removing the dying leaves. It’s so tiny now. I keep it with partial light and water it about once a week, or when the soil is dry. What am I doing wrong?
Give it more light, and maybe try not in the cache pot, it could be staying to moist. You could also double check the roots to make sure there's no rot

I water my zz plant once a month and maybe even a month and a week sometimes. They have huge tuberous roots that store water and watering it once a week is definitely a no no
