    Not sure about the larger plant, but for the smaller one - calatheas are difficult. They love humidity and consistently moist soil. I keep mine in just sphagnum moss, then mist the moss when the top gets dry, because I’m worried about keeping the perfect balance of moisture with soil. Slightly too dry and the leaves will go crispy, but too wet and you risk root rot. I’ve also heard people having success keeping them in semi-hydro If the humidity is too low, you could get a humidity dome or small terrarium for it

    I’m also not sure about the big one but the calathea looks like it has tap water damage from what I can see in the picture if you use tap water you can put aquarium water conditioner in it mine did great when I started doing that or you can use filtered/distilled water. They’re very picky about their water. Good luck!
