Hi there, My dragon plant has got very skinny in recent months, and not really holding itself up. He had been ok for a number of years but not happy now. He’s never been repotted. I’ve no idea what to do as some online advice says to chop off the tops and replant, others say repot. I’m not sure if he’s already dead? Advice appreciated!

just looks like it needs a good drink to me - when was the last time it got watered? maybe the soil went hydrophobic from a period of being dry. if it is hyrophobic you can either bottom water or repot into a chunkier, well draining mix.

I water it regularly. If anything it was sitting in water for a little while and I didn’t realise so I drained the outer pot.

I would repot it, i have repotted my dragon tree every 2 years!! And it turns very happy afterwards!
