Just misted her, but I would LOVE to hear how everyone else cares for their alocasia’s, as I have almost killed her once already.. I’m fairly good with houseplants but i sometimes have trouble with these in particular!. Any tips would be so greatly appreciated!!! 🙏☺️
Don’t mist! It doesn’t retain humidity. Alocasias are very very sensitive to underwatering and overwatering make sure that you check it almost every day. I’ve had to move mine to water before because they were too sensitive to being in soil lol (as you can tell I’m not the best with them either lol)

Don’t feel too bad lol, alocasias are infamous for being drama queens and generally fussy. I’ve heard from experts that humidity is the most important thing! If possible get a humidifier

DONT MIST - it doesn’t help the humidity and is inviting fungus to grow. She’s a beauty, gently wipe her leaves dry and get a hygrometer to gauge your indoor humidity. I initially used humidifiers for my tropicals but they’ve all acclimated to the indoor humidity and I’ve stopped using the humidifier.
