Hey planters! So my mom got this calathea (I think) and it looked like this the day she got it (browning, wilted, …). I’m bottom watering it, and I would love to get to know this plants and any tips and tricks on how I can care for it better! It is also growing two more leaves!!! ,Thanks!
Well my peacock prayer plant is one of my most low maintenance happy plants in my collection, it sits in a west side window behind a sheer curtain, I mist it once or twice a week, and give it water once or twice a week when it dries out on top I don't know if there's any tricks LOL definitely give it some fertilizer during the growing season probably once a month I'm far from plant expert, but mine's pretty happy 🤷♀️🪴🥰

Same! Also, my maintenance for my prayer plant is pretty similar and it is also a happy plant. I’ve found that they seem to enjoy the company of other plants, so I keep them together. I have read it increases the humidity. They get nice bright indirect morning sun in my eastern window.

Oh yeah I can't believe I forgot to mention the fact that I keep my sunroom around 70% Plus humidity with all my other humidity loving tropicals
