With the changing season my apartment has less light in the living room. I get bright indirect light through my living room window at the height of spring and summer. Now that summer is tapering off some of my plants aren't getting as much light. My question is should I just get grow lights or should I relocate my plants closer to window for more light?
I would move your plants a little closer to the window, not too close, as the season changes. Keep in mind that it will be a little chilly by the window, and your plants may not like that. If they still aren’t happy, I would consider grow lights to help supplement them.

You can do both. But if you want to wait to get a growlight then move them closer to the window for now. I would do both.
