What is the possible reason that my ginger bonsai is losing its fresh leaves? Last time I watered it with rice water. Getting less sunlight because of the weather. It’s just sitting in my room beside a window but nit direct.

smelliotbonsai are full on trees, they like a lot of light, they are also sensitive to their water so be careful using the rice water. it is also winter so they will be going dormant, so you will need to water it much less. if this hasn’t been repotted from the store, the potting mix from the greenhouse is not suited for the home, i would also recommend looking into good bonsai soil.
