I’m trying to give my grandma’s corn plant a makeover but am unsure about the best way to do it. I repotted it in a chunky soil mix since it was in a pot of just regular potting soil, watered it, and placed it in front of the brightest windows of my house where my other plants are. My main concern is trying to make it grow straight again like I’ve seen other corn plants doing. I figured my best bet would be to chop it and propagate the chopped parts. I think I could get two propagations from the top and middle. My only question is where the best place to chop it would be? Any suggestions?

In the second picture, chop where the stalk overlaps the second slat on the chair in the background. Instead of chop and prop, I would use a wooden stake and try to tie it upright over time.
