Hey everyone! I’m new to the depths of plant life and I picked up this guy from target and want to try and get rid of his leaf yellowing. Any advice? Got him a couple days ago☺️

Such a lovely red! Unfortunately the yellow that is already there cannot be reversed. But you can work on troubleshooting what the cause of it in the first place is to prevent more happening. It looks like it could be due to overwatering. Having just gotten it from a big box store, you don’t know its care history so it’ll take a bit of guesswork. :)

You’ll do great — bromeliads are fun. I didn’t know this when I got mine, but the red flower will eventually fade and you’ll need to keep an eye out for a pup growing at the base. That will be your new plant!
