I need help! I got a peace lily from my uncles funeral in June. It had been doing so good until I repotted it 2 weeks ago. I cut all of the yellow leaves off yesterday. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I don’t want it to die.

EmilyWas there a reason it needed to be repotted like root bound? Often times when a plant is introduced to a new environment, it needs to adapt first. If you repot too soon, the plant has to handle the stress of a new environment and new pot. How often do you water her? What type of soil did you use?

The roots were tightly coiled around the bottom of the nursery pot and coming out the drain holes. The pot I put it in was slightly wider but essentially the same height as the nursery pot. When I got him home, I didn’t water for two weeks (the soil didn’t feel dry to me). Since then I’ve been watering every 7 to 10 days.
