I got this Peace lily from my mothers funeral in the last few weeks. I’ve never had a plant before in my life, but I definitely want to try and keep it alive. It’s starting to get brown leaves, and I think that’s because I overwatered it. Please Help????
Hey I’m so sorry about your mom! Do you know if the plant had proper drainage? That would be a good first step to lower the risk of overwatering. If the leaves are getting yellow and brown that would most likely mean over watering, but if they’re getting brown and crispy it could mean too much light or not enough humidity.

0 Mi piaceI bought a new planter today, and replanted the Peace Lily. It has better drainage than the old planter. I’m going to try and give it more shade. Thank you

They like warmer temps, water when top soil feels dry or it’s drooping not every day (1-2 inches deep with finger), mist it they thrive in humidity, indirect light, use rainwater for sure or filtered water, fertilize 6-8 weeks, cut brown nasty leaves, most importantly don’t let it stress you out just keep an eye on it for now I really hope this helped you some.
