What is this white powdery stuff showing up on my soil of various plants?!?

    It looks like perlite to me. Is it solid and like little pebbles, and on a lot of the soil when you just buy it? If so, just perlite. It’s used to improve a soil’s drainage. Nothing to worry about!

      No, it's not the perlite, it like a white moldy powdery coating on some of the soil , it also looks like it's gotten on the actual pot too. Let me find another pic and I'll put it here.

      Well my best two guesses until you attach the photo is powdery mildew or small mold buildup. Sometimes mold, mushrooms, and other fungi show up in and on the top of soil, but it’s often a sign of good health and that there’s good bacteria in the soil (also quite a few soils have good fungi added to the mix). As for powdery mildew, there’s a few different ways to get rid of that.
