   Its a baby rubber plant, pepperomia obtusifolia, so actually completely different species from the rubber plant. Is the soil wet or dry and have you been letting it dry out before you water it?

   Right now dry. And I let it dry out before I water

     So try watering it and see if it perks up. They like to dry out but then you have to water them right away. If its been dry for too long or dried out too much too many times in a row it could take a few weeks to recover, but you should see some improvement right away. And it will likely lose some leaves.

   Good suggestions, this planter does not have drainage. Should I repot it?

     Check for rot when you do, just in case. And if you can, use a really well draining soil. 50/50 potting soil and perlite and some bark added in if you have it is what I use.

   Yes I would put in something with drainage, and maybe give it a small size up. Wait until you see at least two healthy shiny leaves though.

   Peperomia was the start of my plant addiction. Maybe I got lucky in the beginning, she was in a ceramic pot that I watered once a week in a shaded/ screened west facing window. As a newbie when I first repotted her I bought the self watering pot which I think was a life saver (Amazon & cheap). That’s a 6 inch pot. Now she’s 1ft tall after pruning her twice and sharing her with coworkers. Then I give her a bath or clean her leaves at least bi monthly. Have you ever used liquid fertilizer? I do that quarterly and drop it right into the water container at the bottom. I’m still not a pro but that was my experience, hope any of it helps. This plant is my favorite and a strong survivor. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
