   I don’t have any experience with bird of paradise specifically but in my experience if the plant has enough other leaves it should be okay to cut it, although if it was the newest leaf I would let it put out a few more (sense the leaf works just fine for the plant and I personally like to let mine get get some use of all of the energy they put into making it) before you cut but that’s just me, I understand wanting to chop tho lol, I have a philodendron that has a few leaves I wish it would drop on its own lol

     Thank you for the tip! It is the newest one so I will leave it haha. I just want it to look pretty but definitely don’t want to ruin my whole plant. I really appreciate your advice 😊😊😊
