Hi everyone! I need help with my maranta plant asap! I got my red maranta a couple of months ago and since it has lost leaves left and right. I have moved it to different locations in my apartment for better sunlight/indirect light, put it on a watering schedule, watered with purified water, misting, etc. but the health is not improving. I would appreciate any advice on how to nurse it back to health. I would hate to see it die in my care.

These are on my banned plants list… I have no luck with them. But I have seen others have good luck trying them in semi Hydro environments like LECA or pon. Given everything else you’ve tried, that might be worth looking into?

I was considering leca, I propagated it and but it in purified water and the cutting is thriving more than this plant ever has. I am just uneducated about leca care but will be looking into it!

The Leca Queen is a great reference! She even has species specific plant videos for transitioning, care, etc.

If your keeping the soil wet and they’re still losing leaves then I’d switch to distilled water these plants are also just finicky though I have one I’m somehow keeping alive but I’m scared to look at it the wrong way

Yeah my plant is obviously very sensitive to its environment. I will have to invest in making the perfect environment for it
