My calathea white fusion has been getting some brown spotting recently. I believe it may be because I’ve been late to watering it a couple of times now. Do I remove the browning or just make sure to keep a closer eye on the watering? Any advice would be appreciated!

Mine is doing this right now and I’ve narrowed it down to over fertilizing compared to my philos/anthuriums. I have to fertilize at half strength. Humidity is 75%, soil dries 1” down before watering. I cover the base with sphagum moss and keep that wet. It’s in an aroid soil mix. My orbifolia is happy and not yellow/crispy, but I hadn’t fertilized that one.

Yours may not like that direct sunlight next to the window though. I keep mine in indirect light with supplemental lighting in winter.
