I really don’t know what I’m doing with this plant. All of my other plants are doing alright. It’s wonky and droopy and I have some yellowing leaves from forgetting to open the blinds. Should I prune back and regrow? Any tips would be great. The bottom of the leaves are kind of sticky and I bought it with browning spots.
from what i know- i don’t own one yet but am very keen to once i have the window space- these plants need a lot of light. their leaves tilt to follow the direction of light which is possibly why it’s drooping. give it some time in the light and see what happens

I have one too. I put it outside where it got a lot of humidity and partial shade. It is finally growing but brought inside. The leaf edges are crispy. It is a hard plant for me. I did cut it back once and that seemed to help. I feel your pain!🙃

Calatheas are thirsty little light lovers. Water according to the soil not the app schedule. They should stay moist but not water logged and yes…. They need lots of light!
1 j'aimeI’ve killed every calathea I’ve purchased and am scared to try again but the lady at my local plant shop said they like distilled or purified water and that the mineral content of my water was the issue. That makes me feel better bc I can keep hundreds of plants alive. Just not these divas.
