Did I use a proper amount of soil to repot my spider plant? She was pretty root bound in her pot and had a little bit of rotted leaves I had to pull off the bottom so her stem/stalk is a little exposed now. Should I add more soil to give a little more stability or do you think she’ll stabilize once her roots get acclimated?

What you have there is a dracaena! Care isn’t terribly different from a spider plant, tho. Definitely let the soil dry out between waterings. To answer your question, a stake may be beneficial to support the stem. Regular rotating will also help. IME dracaena like to lean toward the light.

Okay! Thank you for telling me what it is genuinely. I thought for the longest time it was a “snake plant” and when I saw photos I was like nonono it’s definitely not that. I thought it looked most similar to the pictures I saw of spider plants but it has a card that came with it that said dracaena but I honestly never looked it up 🤦‍♀️
