Hi everyone. I’m new to planta and caring for plants! I’ve had a few plants here and there but never actually looked into caring for them. I have my own home now and a lot of time on my hands so I decided to give it a try again! I’m really hoping I can go from a black thumb to a green thumb with patience and a lot of learning. I got this Fiddle Leaf Fig at Lowe’s on the clearance section (probably not my finest decision) but I said why not. The leaves have brown spots, the tips of the leaves look crinkled, it has some small pests. I cleaned the leaves, transplanted it into a better pot since the original was overly damage. So here we go. After cleaning the leaves and letting it sit inside my home next to a window for a week it’s looking a bit better.

You should try adding a good stick in the middle to prop your plant up on! It will help it to grow upward.

It barely had any! I also didn’t have any other house plants so it wasn’t going to affect any. I just wiped the leaves with a cloth with water and soap, also sprayed the water with a hose with a bit of pressure. It hasn’t had any pests since. Not sure if I did it right but it’s been thriving since 😅
