Help! My beautiful polka dot begonia has been doing great and has a bunch of new leaves but the tips of most of the leaves are dry and this one has a big grey spot. i’ve been consistent with watering but i’m learning she could be sensitive to the lime in tap water. Should I use bottled or distilled water? Or could it be something else? Some additional info, I’ve had her for about a month and I just repotted her yesterday bc she was outgrowing her nursery pot (tipping over and water went right through). She was in all purpose soil but i did a mix of 50% coconut coir, 20% perlite, 30% soil.

    No more tap water! Distilled or RO is my recommendation. Or I personally use my dirty fish tank water. Don’t mist… her foliage is sensitive to that.

    How’s the humidity around her? Making it more humid really helped mine have better looking leaves

    she actually lives right next to an air purifier/humidifier! but that is good to know. i was debating putting her outside as it’s suitable for her this time of year here but im worried she will get too much direct sun.
