I’m having issues with my indoor plants especially this one. I’ve only done outdoor plants but ever since I’ve started buying plants like succulents and elephant ears. I’m having trouble caring for them as you can see. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong since I’ve been following plantas tips since last week, It told me to water this elephant ear after every 8 days and I want to make sure it’s right since I feel like it’s too long. If it’s not then I fear I may have overwatered it.
I would use premium but I feel like seeing what others say.

That’s a huge pot. I would take it out and check the roots. If they look ok I would repot in a much smaller pot with adequate drainage.
4 likes I’ll try doing that. I heard that it grows huge so that’s why I put it in this pot. The pot also has a drainage hole so no worries on that.

3 likes They can grow to be big so that’s why I put it in that pot but I’ll try to look for a smaller one.

In pots that are much larger than the root zone of the plant it's hard to keep the water right. If you go down to a 3" or 4" pot (my guess based on what I can see) you'll have an easier time managing the water.
