SOS, Brand new plant parent & was told to repot a prayer plant. Zero clue what I’m doing here - this is what the roots look like. Also, there are these random plastic like fragments throughout the root - what are they? TIA :)

    Well the good news is, that bulb thing on the roots there is a seed! 😁 Watch a youtube video on how to plant it. As for the roots, its entirely possible the roots are just yellow. The flaky stuff is probably moss. If you want to, clean it all the way off with water and treat for any rot with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Make sure you replant it in the correct medium. Regular compost dirt doesnt cut it for tropical plants
