Golden Pothos - Help needed Goldie (golden pothos) is not looking too great. Leaf loss, brown spotting, limp stems. Likely watering or light related. Recovery guidance appreciated.

    Likely a water problem. Sometimes the app tells you to water at incorrect times. Test the soil yourself twice a week (pothos don’t need as much water) and water when the second inch of soil is dry. Before that, however, I would first be concerned about the roots from either over or under watering. Check the roots first to see if they’re still white and healthy. If they are, put it back in a well-draining pot and start a better watering schedule

    I have also found trimming my leggy pothos and replanting the cutting back into the soil promotes growth on top.
