This Aglaonema was in my daughter’s room. She put it in a north facing window and it lost leaves, became pale and rough looking. There was a lot more sun in the window than I anticipated. Brought it out to dining room where I could keep an eye on it-check moisture, for pests, etc. Last night I touched the stem and it fell over and broke off at the soil line. The picture shows where it broke. The white is not mold, it’s remnant of stem and small piece of perlite.
Is she a goner or what can I do? Thanks

0개 좋아요I think I’ve found the true problem!!!!!! I took the plant out to put in water and found it tightly bound in the mesh restricting healthy root growth. I’ve removed what I can safely remove of it. It’s no longer encircling it, just some small pieces are left. What do I do now? Plant in soil and will it grow best in it or figure out a way to put in water? Sadly, I am absolutely broke from an extreme unanticipated expense earlier in the month, so I cannot purchase anything. I have regular potting soil on hand, orchid bark, succulent and cactus mix and about 1/2 cup perlite on hand. Can anyone direct me to the best thing to do? Thanks for any help💚
