Help! I have no idea what is going on with my dumb cane. I thought it wasn’t getting enough light so I moved it to this window but now more of the bottom leaves are drooping! 😭 I’m very new to plants.

Have you repotted it since you got it? Does that pot have drainage? And is the soil wet?
0 LikesI repotted it into this pot, it does have drainage at the bottom, and the soil is moist but not wet.
0 LikesHmmm okay, what kind of potting soil mix did you use? Are there any signs of pests (black dots, white fuzzy or tiny spider webs)
0 LikesJust regular soil that they had at the plant store, nothing special. I feel like maybe I have been over watering it, I’m still figuring out how to water them effectively which is why I ended up downloading this app. No signs of pests.
0 LikesYeah most new plant parents give a little too much love lol, I’d try and repot into a chunkier sandier medium, maybe the potting soil mixed with some perlite and sand. That way with the watering it will have more drainage and less water retention which will help with root rot not taking hold. For this one I’d only water probably once a month especially in indoor temperate conditions
