Newbie here- I repotted this gal 3 weeks ago and she was fine. We went out of town last weekend and came back to her dying... I checked the soil and it was a little moist towards the bottom, not overly though. How do I save her (if possible). Thanks!! 🌱🪴

Calatheas are finicky. They like high humidity. That’s why it was one of the plants I let go when I moved. If the leaves still look good, I’d try to save it with a humidifier, and a spot near the window.

There are a few new, healthy looking leaves that are still curled up....rest of them are gone I think. Can I save the new ones somehow?

Calathea are magnets for spider mites as well so I would check the backs of the leaves, trim off the damaged leaves, and treat with dish soap or your chosen pest treatment. A humidifier will also help! They love higher humidity! Remember that they can grow back! I had to cut all the leaves off mine earlier this year and it’s finally growing again so they are resilient beasts

Thank you!! I trimmed the dead and it's actually rebounding big time 👏 I don't see any bugs but I'll check often
