Hey plant family I just purchased this Monstera Monkey Mask plant from Home Depot 3 days ago. I have repotted it and bought tropical potting soil as recommended. Any suggestions on helping it thrive and survive? New plant mom here and I’m reading so much info it’s blending together. Any tips are appreciated
Those leaves are leaves are absolutely gorgeous, I’m so jealous! The most common issue I see with these is overwatering, so when you water them, make sure most of the soil is dry and that there’s proper drainage. And they also like humidity, so look into getting a humidifier. I’ve noticed on a lot of plant care blogs and websites, they recommend misting the leaves. Please, do not do this, because it doesn’t actually benefit the plant. Lastly, I’d put it in a well-lit spot (not bright indirect). Hope that helps, and good luck!
