Hi all! I recently won this Alocasia in a plant bingo. I’ve always wanted one but never bought one because I’ve heard they are notoriously hard. But hey! It was free if you don’t count the bingo admission. Anyway, I’ve had it for maybe a week or two and I’m noticing all these spots on the leaves. The healthy leaf is new. But the plant was just uncurling the leaf when I got it. Any recommendations on what its issue is and what I need to do about it?

    looks like bacterial leaf spot. affected leaves need to be completely removed and the remaining plant should be treated with a copper fungicide

      Okay! Thankyou so much. I can’t get the spray until the 27th. Is it best to cut off the affected leaves now or wait until I have the spray?

      cut now. that's where most of the infection is
