I’m a new plant owner and someone potted these two plants for me. She said to mix 1tsp of miracle grow with 1 gallon of water…so I did that literally…and I guess I wasn’t supposed to do that…I drained the water and keep checking for excess water. Is there anything I can to save them? Can’t believe I made such a silly mistake…lol The first picture has the rotting leaves, trimmed those.
After getting a plant repotted it generally not good to fertilizer for a few months because you are adding shock to them and their new soil has good amounts of nutrients already for them. Also make sure you only fertilize once a month, under fertilizing is always better than over. When she repotted the plant did you see how big the root ball was because the pots look a little big for the plant which might of caused some more wetness. You could also try moving your plant to a more sunny spot like outside in a not too sunny area or next to a bright window. This will help dry the soil and provide quicker growth. But overall I think your plant just needs a bit of time.
