help!! no idea what’s going on with my plant - this was my first ever one! i can’t see any bugs just loads of brown dots and the leaves turning brown

    hi poppy, unfortunately your plant seems to be battling a thrip infestation . id recommend isolating the plant immediately from any others and either treating it with systemics, insecticides, and cutting off the most heavily damaged leaves because thrips actually lay eggs inside the leaf. i would also recommend dusting the soil with diatomaceous earth. because of the life cycle of thrips you'll have to reapply whatever treatment you're using every couple weeks to make sure larvae and bugs in the soil get taken care of :)
