I found this bird of paradise on the side of the road labeled "FREE". I wouldn't spend my own money on one because I know they're prone to pests but, if it's on the side of the road? Free is free. Please give me any tips and/or tricks you have on saving this thing.

My tip is that most people leave their plants on the side of the road because they have pests.
0개 좋아요 I use Mosquito bits in my soil and I wiped down the plant itself with neem oil before I brought it inside. Some of the leaves had bird poop on them so I assume this was an outdoor plant

Banana tree… where are you? I’m in ga and plant mine outside. They are HUGE! As tall as my house and triple every year. I also get bananas but they don’t get ripe enough. They are easy,,, just clean her up and chop off the dead leaf
